The NOS just released an article about the increased presence of antibiotics in the Dutch mains water supply.

"Each year, 140.000 kilograms of medicine find their way into our tap water. These medicines do not affect the taste and odour of the water but may have long-term health effects. As current installations are not capable of extracting the chemicals from the water, the government is starting pilots in which they hope to remove 80% of the medicine in the water".

At Aquablu, we like to be in control of our own water quality. By fitting our systems with a reverse osmosis filter, we are able to remove contaminants up to 0.0001 microns in size. This includes antibiotics, pesticides and microplastics, resulting in 100% clean and healthy (alkaline) water. The quality of the water is constantly monitored and can be read out by the customer whenever he or she pleases.
